THANKSGIVING!! November is the month of Thanksgiving. At Chinn & Associates, we practice Thanksgiving every day of November and not just on Thanksgiving. We encourage you to practice Thanksgiving every day this month. Take a little time each morning to write all the things you are Thankful for. Write, call or visit at least one person a day to tell them you love them or appreciate their friendship.

We will be closed for Thanksgiving beginning at Noon on November 23, 2011. We will be closed Thursday and Friday, and will re-open Monday, November 28 at 8:30 a.m.

About the family: Conley, 13, and in seventh grade, took 20th place in the State AAA cross country meet with a time of 14:27. JA came in third. Conley also received The Most Promising Player award for the JV Soccer team. Carly was awarded All Conference honors and Best Offensive Player for the JA Varsity Soccer team!

Mark’s first daughter Courtney is due to deliver the first grandchild on November 14!! Pictured are Mark's Wife and four daughters at a recent Baby Shower.

West Nile:
Chad seems to be recovering nicely from his bout with West Nile, but we understand symptoms pop up from time to time without warning. Keep Chad in your prayers!

PRO BONO AWARD: Mark received the distinguished service award from the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project for his service to the provision of free legal service to low income people in Mississippi.

Presentations: Mark made a presentation for the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project on October 25, 2011 on the topic of “Divorce 101.” Mark was part of a three-hour tutorial program on divorce for pro bono or “volunteer lawyers.” He is pictured here with Tiffany Graves, Director of the Project.

Mary Anne will be taking a sabbatical for the months of November and December to spend time with her family and celebrate the birth of her fourth grandchild.

Reception: Our firm believes in personal service. We have invested in a telephone system which allows access to all of our team members and which allows for voice mail messages. Judy works mornings. If you call and wish to speak to a particular person and they are unavailable, you may either leave a voice mail or ask to speak with someone else.
