SPECIAL REPORT: Matthew Thompson has received an exclusive “Preeminent AV Rating” in Family Law by Martindale-Hubbell publishers. Only 12% of the lawyers in the entire USA receive this distinction. It is the most respective distinction among the legal profession. Mark Chinn, also an AV rated lawyer for the last 20 years, stated, “We are extremely proud of Matthew. - GRANDBABY! Financial analyst, Mary Anne Lefoldt is the new proud grandmother of Adelle, who is the daughter of Mary Anne’s daughter, Amy Dutton, of Atlanta, Georgia. Addie is Mary Anne's third grandchild. She joins twins John Kennedy and Victoria Nowell, who are now 8 years old.
- MOTHER’S DAY: Happy Mother’s day to all of our Mothers out there.
- PRESENTATIONS:
Mark presented to the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project on the topic of "Initial Interview Warnings." Mark will present to the Mississippi Bar Family Law Section on May 27, 2011 on the same topic. Matthew Thompson will also present on the topic of “The Undivorce,” a procedure where divorced couples can nullify their divorce and be reinstated in marriage.
 TELEVISION APPEARANCES: Mark appeared again on Fox 40 and Friends on April 28. Mark is a regular legal expert on the show, usually on the fourth Thursday of each month. Fox 40 and Friends is your best source for local news and weather in the morning from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.
- MEMORIAL DAY: The office will be closed May 30, 2011 for Memorial Day. Mark will be remembering his father who served for three years in North Africa and Italy in World War II.
