Mark Chinn has received the highest "AV Preeminent" rating with a perfect "5 out of 5" score from Martindale-Hubbell. The AV rating is a significant accomplishment in that only 12% of all the attorneys in the world have been awarded the designation. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings help buyers of legal services identify, evaluate and select the most appropriate lawyer for a specific task at hand. |

- Mark’s third book, Forms, Checklists and Procedures for the Family Lawyer, published by the American Bar Association has received a stunning review from the Michigan Family Law Society. You may read it here.
- Friday, January 7, 2011, marks Judy Smith's 9th Anniversary with the Chinn team. One of the unique things about our firm is the longevity of our world-class team.
- As you know, Mark is a member of the prestigious Verasage Institute which studies and promotes client-based prices for legal services. Mark will be attending the International meeting of the Institute in Napa, California from January 21 through January 25.
- Trials: The firm will be involved in trials on January 20 and 26. Trials often occupy all of the day before and the day of trial, so we ask your patience during these days.
- Holiday: Chinn & Associates will be closed, Monday, January 17, 2011 to recognize the great Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. (Our firm generally closes when all courts are closed.)
- Firm “Blawgs” Our firm has a written blawg published every Monday (“blawg” is a legal, blog). This blawg generally covers important points of family law. The firm publishes a video blog every Wednesday on topics pertaining to life lessons learned by Mark Chinn during 33 years of law practice. This video blog is usually only 90 seconds and would benefit any person, lawyer or not, so pass them on to your friends and family.
