FIRM NEWS

  • Mark made a presentation on the topic of family law for the Mississippi Bar Volunteer Lawyers Project on May 27. He also will present for the Mississippi Bar Family Law Section on June 4, 2008 on the topic of using technology in the family law office.
  • We are sad to report that bookkeeper Peggy Earwood has resigned from the firm. Peggy’s husband Mike has a unique opportunity in Arkansas and Peggy wants to be by her husband’s side. Peggy has been with us for over ten years and it is hard to imagine going forward without her.
  • June marks the 13th anniversary of Maryanne’s service with us. Maryanne serves in the unique capacity of financial specialist. We believe she is the only such specialist in a family law firm in Mississippi, if not the U.S. Maryanne is an integral part of the Jackson community. Her husband Larry, is one of Mississippi’s finest CPA’s. They have three lovely daughters and two grandchildren. Maryanne is known throughout Jackson for her community service.
  • We have a busy June ahead of us with trials and hearings. If you have a hard time getting ahold of us this month, bear with us as we prepare for and attend these hearings. But, as always, we all carry iPhones through which you can communicate with us at any time through text, calls or e-mail. Our numbers and email addresses are set forth below and we urge you to communicate with us at any time.
