  • July is going to be a very busy month for our firm. First we have trials on July 2, 13, 14, 15, 19 and 28. We have two on July 13! The Mississippi Bar convention is July 7 to 10. Both Matthew and Mark will be attending that, specifically the meeting of the Mississippi Bar Family Law Section on July 9.

  • July 4th: the firm will be closed July 5 in honor of the holiday. All courts will also be closed.

  • Mark was recently featured in a National article by LawyersUSA on the state of the economy and its impact on family law.

  • Mark has also performed the final proof on his third book to be published by the American Bar Association, called, “Forms, Procedures and Checklists for the Family Lawyer.” Publication is expected in August or September.

  • Online social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace have begun playing a big part in Divorce and Custody battles. The Associated Press released an interesting artice on the topic. You may read it here. Then head over to Mark's Blog to read how this impacted a recent case in Mississippi.
