FIRM NEWS

  • Mark just returned from Baltimore where he made a presentation to the American Bar Association on the topic of value pricing, which is Chinn & Associate’s unique and client-friendly method of customizing definite prices for its clients. Mark is scheduled to make two days of presentations to the Indiana State Bar Association June 3-6 at the Belterra Resort on many topics pertaining to managing a family law practice.
  • The American Bar Association has approved for publication Mark’s third book which will contain forms, procedures, checklists and letters for the Family Law practitioner. It is expected that the book will be published by October. Mark has also been requested to submit materials on law office procedures for publication in the upcoming Family Law Advocate, a periodical published by the American Bar Association Family Law Section.
  • The Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, which is a prestigious listing of only 5% of the lawyers in the country, has notified Mark that he has been selected for inclusion again in the field of family law.
  • Patricia returns from her sabbatical on May 4, 2009, but she won’t be able to relax as she is due in court that day in Mendenhall. Patricia has enjoyed her time off and celebrated a birthday on April 28.
  • Mary Ann Lefoldt also returns to work on May 4, 2009 following a month off which was awarded to her for her distinguished service to the firm for twelve years.
  • The firm will celebrate Memorial Day with a day off on Monday, May 25, 2009. If you need anyone of us during that time, our cell phones are listed below for calls or texting. All lawyers are also able to track their office emails on their iPhones.
  • Mark and Matthew will be out of the office at the end of May for a trial in Columbus.
